Default Opera 9.10 Final released

Opera is the main browser I use, due to the ease of use, speed, security, and other cool features. Though 9.10 is not listed on the Opera official website at the moment, many sources are also stating that it is indeed the final version.

Opera website (with features, screenshots, etc.):
Opera browser: Homepage

Direct FTP downloads to 9.10 (hope this is following forum rules):
Windows -- http://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/win/9..._Eng_Setup.exe
Macintosh -- http://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/mac/9...9.10_Setup.dmg
Linux i386 .DEB -- http://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/linux...qt_en_i386.deb
Linux i386 .RPM -- http://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/linux...qt.i386-en.rpm

Enjoy =)

I like Opera, it's great, but everyone knows what really makes Firefox shine is the extensions.
There's infinite possibilities, it's quite decent on the security and it's sure better than Internet Explorer on every point. :P

Really? I've run Firefox on 233MHz K-6s before with no problem, but then again, that was like Firefox 0.9 or something...

I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal.

That's exactly my sentiment. I really like Opera, from the interface to the wealth of features built right in from the get-go. If not for Firefox, I'd be an Opera guy, but even with their widgets, Firefox's wealth of extensions just has no equal.

I have always been a diehard FF user but still use others for a bit to test them out

Thanks HL and Corsair!

I've never been particularly fond of Opera. Like Paul said, it does have more features than any other browser from the get-go, but the extensions are not all that bug me. It has a distinct feel to it no matter what platform you run it on. For instance, the buttons are an ugly gray that result in flashbacks to 1995.

I'm indifferent to the aesthetics personally, but it's certainly worth mentioning that there are a variety of skins are available (LINK), including some Firefox knockoffs.

I switched from I.E. to opera with this new version. Thanks Paul for the link to skins. I've never liked tabbed browsing because I always end up clicking the X in the upper right corner and having the browser close instead of closing a window like I.E. but I'm going to see if I can get use to it. I know everyone like FireFox but the wife has that one on each comp.

I have the same problem (probably why I can't hit $h!t in CS:S), but check out this tweak...
