Default Need Help Opening Ports...

Ok I've had Madden 08, FIFA 08, Tiger Woods 08, and NBA LIVE 08 ever since they were released and I can't play any of them online. The games run just fine offline but there's a problem with the connection i have to EA Sports Servers I believe.

Does anyone know how to open these ports

DNS: 13020
HTTP: 80 (Outbound Only)
HTTPS: 443 (Outbound Only)
TCP: 13500-13599, 28400-28499, 32768-65535 (Outbound Only)
UDP: 1795, 1797, 3658, 9570 (Inbound and Outbound)

I dont know which ones are private or public ports and I dont even know where to activate them on my router. I'm using a D-link router (Di-624)

I'm in dire need of help. Thx a lot guys!

Go to run > Cmd and type ipconfig. Enter the IP you see under Default gate way in internet explorer or firefox. You'll get to your routers page. Look for port forwarding and just open the necessary ports.

ah its not that simple. i come into a stalling point where i go to the advanced tab and there are 3 things the D-link tech support people have told me to do which are all different and I have no idea who was right.

Ill explain this a bit better for you guys. In the applications tab there is Virtual Server, Applications, Filters, Parental Control, Firewall, DMZ, and Performance. Tech support said to go to virtual server, applications, and firewall. I have never seen anything as confusing as this. In apps theres a Trigger Port _____ - ____ and under it Trigger type TCP with a public port line and what type of Public type is it (TCP OR UDP) thats all there is for applications.

Now in Virtual server there's a private IP i can put in and Protocol type (TCP OR UDP) Private Port ____ and under that Public Port ____

In firewall it says Source (Interface) IP range start ______ IP range end _____ then under that is Destination (interface) IP Range start ______ Ip range End _____ and then there Protocol (TCP OR UDP) then PORT RANGE ___-____

Ok thats prety much how my router works... It isn't simple where it says open ports like u said. Does anyone know if the port i mentioned above are private or public?? I can't tell.

You need to be very careful about opening ports on your router. You leave yourself open for attack.

Do you mean port forwarding? Like for games and such?
