Improved stability.
Improved support for Mac OS X.
International Domain Name support for Iceland (.is) is now enabled.
Fixes for several memory leaks.
Several security enhancements.
The list mentions that several memory leaks are fixed and I can only hope that this is the case. Many people have reported of Firefox hogging 500MB or more of system memory. For the full list of security updates and bug fixes, check here.

It looks like there are still people complaining about memory useage issues with FF though :(

Drats! I have that issue on 1.5, it was up to just under 1GB last night before I closed it and reopened. I'll download the update and cross my fingers.

Completely agreed. Opera is horrible. And the statements youve giving are factual and backed up by external links.

flaming and general pissiness will not be tolerated. People have different opinions on subjects and thats fine. I won't tolerate spamming or any general "know it all attitude"......I think a quick look over the site rules would be helpful

If you go to Tools > Options... > Content
You can turn the pop-up blocker on and off and add in sites that you will allow pop-ups for. If you have problems with some sites still getting pop-ups, then you could just clear your allowed site list and hopefully that fixes the problem. I don't seem to have any problems with unwanted pop-ups.
