| my friend have recommended me to get icons from icongold.com. anyone have any experience with this site. the icons look quite good. Please let me know before i shell out $39. thank you in advance |

| Personally, I use the default icons in Windows. http://www.kde-look.org and http://www.gnome-look.org have some very nice icons (themes and wallpapers too, all public domain :) ) but those icons won't work in XP. I think they may work in Vista though since Vista uses PNG icons like Linux does. You could find an icon making program to convert them if you find anything on those sites you like. |
