Question How far can I go on 60GB/month?

I've been checking out my options for high-speed once I move into town, and I have a question: How far can I go on 60GB/month? Like is it even possible to use that much transfer in 1 month?

Never heard of that. What is it a limited plan? 60gb the total download allowed or upload?

Depends on what you are going to do. For gaming, you should do great. I normally send at about 15KB/s and recieve at 25KB/s in CS:S, on a 3 Megabit connection.

Now, for heavy downloading and file sharing on the other hand...

Unless you are a REALLY heavy downloader (gigs a day thru Bittorrent or something) you probably won't ever use up that 60gigs.

The most I've done was between 400GB a month, but that was with Majestic12...A distributed computing search engine For normal everyday things, I probably don't go beyond 2-5GB a month, unless there is a bunch of new game demos or something.

I have never really checked mine but with all that I do, I suspect mine is somewhere around 3-5GB per day. I do a lot of testing and downloading and small bits of uploading.... I suspect that will go up with the new build due to more hd size and expected usage

Thanks HL and Corsair!

I do use BitTorrent and another file sharing program, and I'm planning on getting Linux that way, and a couple of other programs that I need as well.
