Default Firefox Memory Leakage?

I've never experienced the Firefox "memory leakage" others sometimes complain about, but lately it has been pushing my CPU usage up to 100%, sometimes rendering the browser unresponsive.

Wondering if others are having the same problem and if there's a work-around for it.

Launch Firefox and import your bookmarks. That should fix the problem. If not uninstall FF altogether and try reinstalling it.

Thanks, Panda Man. Guess I'll just uninstall and reinstall since I have Foxmarks on both my computers.

I recently read somewhere (Maximum PC?) that a memory problem started with the last FF update, and they suggested making a change in FF's registry, but I can't find the article.

Default Re: Firefox Memory Leakage?

I had that issue with a previous version (.0.10). I had to export/save my bookmarks to an html file on the desktop, remove firefox, once thats removed go intot he Program Files and remove any leftover folders, then run CCleaner's registry cleaner to clean up... then I reinstalled FF and never a problem since.

Thanks HL and Corsair!
