Default Firefox 3.0 alpha!!!

Ok, Firefox 2.0 was just released a few weeks ago, and now they have version 3.0 alpha out for download already!?!?

Well, I don't know about anyone else, but I think I will just stick with the 2.0 version for right now, but hey, if any of you would like to download it, and give it run, here ya go!!!

Well, the buttons are different. It definately looks flashier than before.

It's working just fine. It feels slower but it might just be me imagining things.

No rest for the weary! The constant development of Firefox and feedback from users keeps them at the top of the hill, and they've been working on 3.0 even before 2.0 was released.

One word of caution though - careful about jumping to any conclusions based on this Alpha build. It's basically intended for web developers, and the interface and functionality will surely see some changes by the time it's released later in 2007. Here's a decent blurb:

Mozilla Ships Alpha Release of Firefox 3.0:
"The Mozilla team released its first alpha release of Firefox 3.0 today, giving Firefox and Web application developers an early look at the next-generation browser. This release is not intended for regular users, not even those who like to play around with early versions of a product, Mozilla said[...]The final version of Firefox 3.0 is expected to be released by the end of 2007."
