Can't Get to any search sites!!!

Google, Yahoo!, EVEN MSN!

I can't get to them. Its 7:39 (PST) and i've been trying for several minutes.

0.o whats going on? is anyone else getting this?

I can navigate HWL Perfectly, my blog is still up, Relic forums are still up.. However slow.

Even using Speakeasy - Speed Test, I get 3.9kbps down and 489 kbps up. Which are the normal numbers....

Whats going on? Can anyone else get to google or yahoo? or perform a search on MSN.com?

Are you still having that problem? I have not seen any problems here. It sounds like a DNS issue, maybe even DNS poisoning. Have you tried running tracert if you use windows or traceroute if you use Unix/Linux? c:\tracert yahoo.com
This will check ever routing hop between you and them. If it never starts then you have a bad IP address which means a DNS server problem. If it starts and then stops at some point then it is a provider issue.

"ipconfig /flushdns"

Hope its not DNS poisoning!

Its back up now. I don't know what was wrong with it.

I got the same problem yesterday (or 2 days ago, i'm not sure), no search sites would work but I could access HL and alot of other sites. Turned out my ISP DNS servers were attacked. *shrugs*
I wonder if it could be related.

Lots of people, you can do allot of damage hacking one of them.
