Default Windows-based OC programs

Is there any difference or drawbacks to OCing with a Windows-based program such as nVidia nTune? Is it really easier to OC with those type of programs?

Yeah, it's easier. That's all it's got IMO.

I dunno, I don't O/C. I don't know the pros/cons.

So the only difference is that you have to all the way in to Windows instead the BIOS? The same result?

Bios overclocking is the way to go. With my Asus A8N-E motherboard I was only able to get a 10% overclock using the Asus software program. However when I overclocked in the bios I was able to get 25% easily.

If you're going to OC, do it in the Bios.
