Power down the computer.
Look in your motherboard manual, there's a section about changing a jumper (often red) position on the motherboard to reset the CMOS to the initial settings.

hmm, i not exactly sure what to do....this is what it says in the manual

CLR_CMOS (Clear CMOS)
You may clear the CMOS data to its default values by this header. To clear CMOS, temporarily short the two pins. Default doesn't include the jumper to avoid improper use of this header.

how do i short the pins?

Take a metallic object or a jumper and just make contact between the two CLR_CMOS pins.

thankss a lot! it's working now

but i took a look in the BIOS and it's only at 100MHz, but before i started to raise it, it was at 200MHz. Is that supposed to happen?

EDIT::: I reset and had another look, and now it's at 300MHz, it's not supposed to jump around by itself is it?

No, your FSB should not be changing by its self. Are you sure you didn't change anything?

The only thing i changed was the FSB. Weird. Looked at it a few more times, and kept changing values by itself..So I hit the reset to defaults in the actual BIOS. Seems to be back to normal now.

Great. Just remember that if you raise the FSB to much, the CPU won't operate properly. If you really feel like getting into OCing, you can raise the voltage (VERY CAREFULLY) to keep it stable. The higher the FSB, the higher the voltage, and in turn, the better cooling you must have.

Good Luck!!
