| When you OC things, can you OC them to a certain point without having to raise the voltage? I ask because it will be my first OC ever, and i don't wanna fry everything within 2 minutes of setting up my new PC. | Level 2 College Student | What are ya OC'n? U can OC ur video card and RAM and CPU without touching the voltage. There are people here who can explain it MUCH better than I can, but in lamens' terms, Adjust the FSB to OC ur CPU and RAM |

| Modder-ator | Yes, that is actually what we suggest you do. Just start by increasing your FSB 5 - 10 MHz at a time and test each time you change something so you know if it is stable or not. If you get to a point where your FSB speed increase becomes unstable and no amount of cooling or memory tweaking can improve stability, you are at a crossroads. You can either stay there and be happy with your overclock on stock voltage, or you can take the darker path and start increasing your voltage and try to make stable what used to be unstable. |

| Well im gonna be happy with it at stock anyway coz it'll be a HUGE step up from my current PC, so any increase by OC'ing will be a nice bonus. I'm getting an E6320 1.86GHz, and am hoping it will OC to at least 2.4GHz (same as an E6600)without a voltage raise, as people say the 63xx series is a good OCer Intel E6320 1.86GHz Gigabyte 965P-DS3P Corsair 2GB 800MHz XFX 8800 GTS 320MB 250GB Seagate- 750GB WD Antec 900 OCZ GameXtream 700w ThermalTake Big Typhoon VX Windows XP Professional SP2 Razer Deathadder Mouse 24" Widescreen Acer Moniter |
