Ok, are you running the latest BIOS? I found that the new NVIDIA BIOS for that board brought the temps up 5-7C.......which I'm still trying to confirm as accurate (I'm skeptical because TAT is the same as before, 5-7C lower)

Run , TAT, tell us what you get, and we'll go from there.

BTW, I'm running mine at 3.375 24/7 with the new Cooler Master Gemini II and am about 7C lower than you, after switching out the Zalman 9700 that was showing the exact same temps as you

You think i should just put my speed down to 3.375??? Is that good enough or what? I just thought 3.6 would be crazy speed but i dont wanna burn my pc to the ground. Wat are you bios settings for your set up??

I'd keep your memory at 1000. The eVGA boards have some stability issues with memory clocked at 1066. So your good there.

Running TAT and Prime95, are your temps still around 57C? The board temp is fine and so is the MCP. No worries there.

With your CPU voltage set to 1.36v in the Bios, once you allow for voltage droop, you're probably actually around 1.34v. Download CPU-z, unzip it to its own folder on your desktop and run the program. It can take a few seconds before it reports anything. Once the window pops up, it will look like this:

Notice you can see all the info on my CPU.

My memory timings are good enough right? I shouldn't have to put them down to 4-4-4-12 right?? I should keep all my settings then right? Why do u guys like 3.375 so much?? Why not OC up to 3.4 or 3.5 or 3.6??

Your settings are actually very good, as long as that V-Core is stable
I actually just run Stress Prime, since its set up for dual core processors, and if my load temps stay under 60C, I'm happy (Usually stay around 54-55C)

Overclocking is a continuous trade off. You have to trade off higher CPU Speed for lower temperatures. I was able to overclock my CPU to 3.375Ghz at 1.325 volts. I actually got up to 3.6Ghz, no problem. However, my particular CPU required 1.36v as indicated by CPU-z to be stable at that speed. My Idle temp was 52C and loaded it shot right past 68 and hit 72 before I could shut off the program stressing the CPU. As soon as I dropped my CPU to 1.325v, I was very stable and my loaded temps don't go over 55C. The MAX temp is 61.4, but that doesn't mean I want to run it at that temperature 24/7.

My E6600 stays within the temperature range I want it while at 1.325v and 3.375Ghz. Even though I can hit 3.4Ghz at 1.3V, it wasn't prime stable with that voltage. I ended up having to use 1.35 and my temps were over what I feel comfortable running my CPU 24/7.

The max voltage for the E6600 is 1.3525V. That doesn't mean that your temperatures will be acceptable at that voltage though.

yeah, I'm not that lucky....I need 1.38-1.4V to hit 3.375-3.42GHz

HAHA i actually bumped up my cpu to 3.5 right now and with orthos its running a constant 54 C - 55 C!! I'm happy about that. I think my CPU CORE is at 3.6v... What's kind of weird though is that i put in 4.5v but it says it only reads 3.6. Then i actually put 3.6 and it put it down to 3.15... Really weird
