Red face

Right now i have my e6600 @ 3.5ghz

System Clocks:
CPU mhz: 1555
MEM mhz: 1000

CPU: 1.45v
FSB: 1.40v
PCI-E: 1.35v
MEM: 2.20v

Memory timings: 5-5-5-15 (2T)

I did 3dmark06 and it said my cpu test was at a low 2888... I dont get this?? Is there anything wrong with my settings that i should change?? I really want the best amount of speed with the greatest stability possible... Im pretty sure a lot of you have e6600 and id like to know your personal experience with oc'ing. Ill show u guys a bit of my specs first. I'm wondering a lot on my voltages and my memory timings and mem MHZ!!!

Not sure how much more you'll be able to get out of that processor, but you could try turning up your CPU:Memory divider and overclock your RAM because right now it is underclocked.

I'm saying to change the CPU:RAM ratio so the system runs the memory faster than what it is now without increasing the FSB since you still have more MHz speed left in your memory.

You said your memory is running at 1000MHz (which is actually 500MHz double data rate) and you have PC2-8500 memory which runs at DDR2-1066 speed (an effective 533MHz). So your memory is actually running 33MHz less than stock speed. If you tweak your CPU:RAM ratio (and maybe your FSB if necessary) you will change how the system calculates your RAM speed and run it faster, which should (theoretically) yield better performance. Try setting your CPU:RAM ratio to 800MHz or 2:3 instead of 667MHz (4:5). That will run your memory at 582MHz instead of 500MHz with your same FSB (so your processor's clock speed will not change).

Does that make sense?
