Default DualBoot OC'ing?? XP/Vista?

If you have a dual boot system... XP and VIsta....... and you choose to overlock, would 1 operating system run more stable than the other?? For example, if I were to get the cpu to 3.4ghz, could I see a difference from one operating system to the other?? Or does the operating system have absolutely nothing to do with the overclocking??

thanks...

Also... if I run 3dmark06 on each of the operating systems, should I see the reitivly the same results??? XP pro and vista ultimate are the operating systems..

thanks yet again

#1 I don't think anyone can make stats on which one is more affected by an unstable overclock. If your overclock is unstable, no matter what OS you're using, it's going to be unstable.
#2 You should see better results on XP Pro.

Both operating system have different kernels and different Hardware absratction layers, therefor each OS will act differently when you overclock them
you might find that one will run at a higher overclock than the other.
As to 3Damrk06 you will different scores between the two with XP usually coming out with a better score due to the maturity of the OS and drivers.
Vista should run more stable at a higher OC according to my testing, but some have reported the oposite.
