Everyday's clocks.
CPU-Z Validator 2.1
±0.11mhz. :P

I'll try to get a nice suicide shot later tonight or tomorrow.

If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. One by one, and two by two, I have ammo, what about you?

Hey polo, thats sweet 3999.89Mhz, you should try and get it to 3999.99Mhz that would be awesome!

Nate do a suicide!!!! And then, if you kill your proc, that gives you the excuse you need to get a 8xxx proc!!

Haha :P It flirts between 4Ghz and 3999.89Mhz.

Yellow: 4Ghz is easy on the E8400. I got mine at 1.38 vcore (CPU-Z reports 1.376)
and I would go higher if the RAM like more than 1010mhz at 5-5-5-12/15.
I try to keep it together to get the best performance out of it and I gotta say at 4Ghz and RAM at 1000mhz it seems to be the sweetpoint. :)

Been running my Q6600 @ 3.2GHz for the last few days. 24 hours Prime 25.5 stable too. Now that I've finally figured out where the stone wall for overclocking was, things are going much smoother. On this 780i board, I had to bump the MCP voltage up .1 to get it running right.

The Q6600 has more left in her. So far, Prime95 v25.5 loaded and 3.2GHz is only pushing a tad less than 50°C. So I should get a bit more out of her.

Q6600@ 3.2GHz w/ CNPS9700 | EVGA 780i | 2Gb Corsair DDR2-800 | EVGA 9800GTX 512 Video | 1x WD 640Gb HDD, 2x Seagate 400Gb HDD, 1x250Gb WD | 2x Samsung SH-203B Opticals | Antec 900 | ABS/Tagan BZ700 700W PSU

yup, these E8400's like 4ghz. mine does it stable with 1.35v. for that suicide run i was running 1.45v. could probably go up to 1.5v with my watercooling, but i dont wanna kill the chip

I haven't fiddled much with mine. I might be able to do it at 1.35v, other time I thought it was my CPU unstable but it was my memory. Not that it really matters though.

I've had my e6300 boot into windows at 3.2ghz... it'll post at 3.5ghz most of the time... but my ram just doesn't agree with overclocking, lol. I thought it was stable at 3.01ghz... but the ram might not be happy enough at 860mhz, so I'm still figuring that out.
