| yeah mate, Bios version- BX97510J.86A.1478.2007.0222.1002 is the 22nd feb' 07 version that I was runninng until last night when I intalled the March version- which is the most current on the Intel site & no different in this respect.. Another guy on this site sent me a shortcut to an Intel pdf doc' entitled "Overclocking on the Intel Desktop Board D975XBX" I'll bring the shortcut back soon, but what is relavent is that the screen shot on p4 of the doc' shows stuff that simply does not appear in my bios....The bios version in the screen shot on p2 is BX97510J.86A.1209.2006.0601.1340 - which to me indicates 1st of june 06... As far as I can tell the main no' here is 1209, where on mine it is 1478, or for march 1479... I wonder if there is differences between US & AU shipped products?? http://download.intel.com/apac/resel...rclock_ENG.pdf Intel Pentium D 940 3.2 Gh Intel D975XBX 2G Geil DDR2-800 PC2-6400 Dual Ch ATI Radeon X850 Pro 2x Seagate 320G sata2 HDD 1x Seagate 250G sata2 HDD Thermaltake Soprano ATX Case Thermaltake XP550NP 430W 2x 12cm (F&R), 1x8cm (side) case fans OEM Intel Heatsink & Fan XP MCE 2005 (primary use) XP Pro SP2 Vista Ultimate 64 Last edited by evandunnett; May 30th, 2007 at 21:18. |

| Modder-ator | So you don't have the "Default Configuration Override" option (as seen on page 3 of the PDF document you linked to) in the "Advanced Chipset" menu of the BIOS? |
