Are random display lags normal when using the GPU client?

I doubt it, but granted it is in beta...

Considering its hogging your GPU, the gpu may not have enough resources to display properly.

If you have the cpu folding in addition to the gpu then you can expect lag...

Thanks HL and Corsair!

From what I've read on the matter, if you're running a dual core machine you need to leave one of the cores free to handle the duties of the video card. While the video card can turn in more PPD, you do have to give up one of your CPU cores to keep the info crunching properly on the GPU.

Are you running two CPU F@H and one on the GPU as well?

Nice juicy WU right there. :P

If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. One by one, and two by two, I have ammo, what about you?

I run Dual World Community Grid for another team, and F@H on the GPU. But since I want to get atleast 2 WUs done by the end of the week, i set WCG to use Core 1, and F@H GPU has complete control over Core 0
