|  Folding with 64 Bit Vista If someone wanted to fold in Vista 64 would it work okay? | Re: Folding with 64 Bit Vista According to a recent article in Maximum PC, it's slower than the 32 bit version of Vista. It would be good only if you wanted to sacrifice speed, and you don't want to do that in folding. So, I think it would be a bad idea.  | ||||||||||||||

| Re: Folding with 64 Bit Vista True, but it should also apply to folding, since both use the CPU. Vista uses the CPU more often than XP does apparently.  | ||||||||||||||

| Re: Folding with 64 Bit Vista It will be slower, but it should work fine  I folded in Vista in 32-bit, even SMP folded. It was a good bit slower though. 64-bit should be no different. It will be slower as mentioned above because of how much more Vista uses the cpu (regardless of if it is 32 or 64 bit)  Thanks HL and Corsair!
