Default Client not connecting....

I have been having to fight with the client to connect to download or upload work. Sometimes it will connect and other times it won't. All firewalls are set to allow the F@H client. Any ideas?

I have the same issue. I just let it keep trying, it eventually gets through (I let it attemp 12 times) Make sure you don't have it set up to use a proxy. Expect an edit in a few.

Nope, I don't use proxy servers. All they do is slow things down.

Server 122.133 is for deadlineless or timeless WU's only, and there are no more timeless WU's being given or accepted - that project is complete.

If you're trying to connect with it, you need to restart your FAH client with the " -configonly" parameter included, and let the FAH client ask you about a new configuration.

Be sure to say "No" to deadlineless or timeless WU questions.

When complete, the FAH client will stop. Restart it again, to have the new configuration loaded into it, and you'll be good to go.

Patiently waiting for it will do you no good - no more timeless WU's are scheduled.

Also, your client falls back to that server if it can't get WU's from another one. Do -configonly and be sure to turn off Use IE Settings. Same thing happened to me on several machines, it tooks ages for me to notice it. :(
Damned IE7.

If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. One by one, and two by two, I have ammo, what about you?

In cases like this, it just means that the servers that hand out the work units are down. Just let it run and it will get them when it sees the servers are up again... a little down time for that hard working box!

Thanks HL and Corsair!
