| Ok I have the ASUS M2N32-SLI DELUXE wireless edition. I USE WINDOWS XP PRO X64 My problem is when I go to display properties under nvida settings it says that my 2nd 6600GT is on a PCI-e 8x lane. not true it is on a x16 lane (both lanes support 16x) please help. also the video bios's are different is that a problem? Another problem springs forth my DVD/CD driver cannot be loaded?!?! it has no driver disk it just plugs and plays. EDIT: cannot run update becasue it cannot detect the drive becasue it has no drivers. this is the 2nd time it has done this WTF!!!!! I am getting very very upset. If I try and repair it totaly screws up and is un loadable so help EDIT:System restored to one month back to no avail. Does any one have the driver folder for X-64? sorry for the multiple posts. EDIT:I need a driver for my DVD drive wich is a windows driver so I need the drivers but I cannot use mine I huess my DVD drive driver keeps getting corrupted. becasue I cannot use my DVD drive to use my windows disk. Last time this happened I tried to repair my install but it would not do it. Here is what I get on the driver window ![]() EDIT:Updated bios NO deal. Still does it. What was the command that looked for windows errors and repaired them? | Modder-ator | Hmmm, that is intersesting. I have a Samsung DVD Burner also and it was recognized and works great in Windows XP Pro SP2. I hate to say it, but do you perhaps have a copy of regular Windows XP 32-bit you could try? |

| My first thought was is the 64 bit Xp causing a problem. |

| The Real Final Word | Yep, I would bet on that one!!! Kind of like Vista, all the cute user interface with out any kind of driver support just go back to standard, good ole Windows XP and be done with it!!!!! |
