| I just moved the PC from my room to where the Dell was and it just isn't working anymore. No power, no fans moving, no POST, nothing. There's a LED lit up on the motherboard, so at least it's getting SOME power, but I don't know whether the mobo or PSU somehow just died or what. GEEZ.... options here people... - Core 2 Quad Q6600 - DFI Infinity 975X - 4GB Corsair XMS2 w/ DHX DDR2-800 - 250GB Seagate 7200.10RPM + 160GB Hitachi 5400.4RPM - ATi Radeon X1900XT 256MB - Cooler Master Centurion 5 + OCZ StealthXStream 600W - Acer 19" P191W Monitor - Logitech Z-5500 Digital + Logitech MX Revolution - Vista Ultimate x64 |

| Do i scare u? | Unplug the main power cable from the PSU, then unplug the 24 pin ATX from the mobo.... let it sit for a couple minutes, plug em back in, maybe it'll work? This is odd... Edit: Holy cow, 3 posts in one minute..... wow!! Do what they said! ![]() ![]() Last edited by Parker; March 2nd, 2008 at 16:47. |

If this doesn't work, ensure all connections inside the case are good. You might have jarred something loose during transportation. If that fails, start pulling components out one by one, or better yet, if you have another rig, start swapping out components to see what is bad or good. Maybe swap out the PSU first? Do you smell or see anything that may have been burnt or anything? | |

| OK, I'm letting it sit for a while now.... Yes, my computer is on carpet, but it was on the carpet in my room for the past two days. I had been plugging and unplugging it all the time to get into stuff... no problem. I stuck on the side panel finally for the first time... any chance from that? It has a shroud on it. - Core 2 Quad Q6600 - DFI Infinity 975X - 4GB Corsair XMS2 w/ DHX DDR2-800 - 250GB Seagate 7200.10RPM + 160GB Hitachi 5400.4RPM - ATi Radeon X1900XT 256MB - Cooler Master Centurion 5 + OCZ StealthXStream 600W - Acer 19" P191W Monitor - Logitech Z-5500 Digital + Logitech MX Revolution - Vista Ultimate x64 |

| Well ... just turn the toggle on your power supply back to the on position. This is where I would start first. Often hands toggle it off when it is picked up.
