| Are these the correct specifications of your computer? Have you recently changed anything (software, hardware, settings) on the computer? Have you accidentally dropped the laptop or left it in any extreme heat or cold? Have you tried powering it both with the battery and with the wall power adapter? Have you tried holding down the power button for several seconds instead of just tapping it when trying to turn it on? Please list any specific troubleshooting steps you've taken so far. | ||||||||||||||

| Yes Thats my laptop. No I have not changed anything. I have never dropped it, I also have never left it somewhere cold or hot, but sometime my laptop gets really hot! Yes I've tried powering it both with the battery and with the wall power adapter. and I have tried holding down the power button for several seconds!! Nothing works!!! | Is the laptop still under warranty from the manufacturer or the place you bought it from? After reading this article, you could try opening up the panel over the RAM and make sure everything is still seated properly. Another silly question, but are you sure the wall outlet you were using is good? Sometimes I've plugged things into a wall and it didn't work because the outlet was hooked up to a light switch that cut off power to the outlet when the switch was in the off position. | Try what blake suggested, and also try powering on the laptop only on battery power. Then try it again plugged into an known working outlet, with the battery removed. | ||||||||||||||
