Default Windows Media Player

I was under the assumption that windows media player cam play movies and video clips. I know it can, but whenver I download a clip or trailer or movie, it won't work.

HELP

Try a program called VLC, it will play pretty much anything you throw at it. I haven't used WMP (Windows Media Player) in a few years now.

Nah. I'd rather not download anything. Too much experience with killing computers and laptops that way from download random things. Thanks though, I got it working, I just reinstalled WMP.

oh ok, well just for some info, VLC has been around for years and is 100% safe. It has taken awards of all sorts from magazines and websites for years and years. its not just a random download, it is a small quick and easy way to not have to mess with many codecs or extra downloads and crap like Quicktime
