| T-Rex | I was just surfing one of my favorite computer rumor mill (TheInquirer) when I saw this little gem. I was instantly stumped by the unpolished article. Unpolished to the point I could spot a typography, or even worse, a logic error in almost each sentence. Really, i'm not trying to bash on anyone... but since when are monkeys allowed to write articles on such a popular website? I can understand english might not be the writer first language/priority but that's downright ridiculous. The article in itself is so badly written you can "feel" an accent, and that's little saying. The article in itself stands no real point other than hearing about some guy opinion on what could well be the most awesome graphical masterpiece (if believing what the writer has to say about it). I'm not sure if there was an editor involved in the article at all and if there was one he apparently forgot to take his coffee this morning. At any rate, i'm glad our members here don't make such silly articles, and some grammar nazi (heya Rich!) is there to back our asses and correct our english when we're day dreaming. ![]() The article: Rainbow Six Las Vegas tortures two G80 GTX A funny and quite appropriate picture to go with this: ![]() |

| He must normally have an editor standing over his shoulder, because he writes a lot of stuff for them and it usually looks ok. LOL........monkeys huh...........LOL........you aren't being very tolerant ![]() Commodore 64 overclocked into outerspace ![]() |

| T-Rex | Tolerant or not, I still think this article is ridiculous and doesn't stand a point. There's no benchmark, the only performance mesurement we can see is "it runs bad". No idea why, no reasearch on the matter either. Just a good little bundle of engrish words to fill a blank spot. |

| I don't disagree. And contrary to popular opinion, I think tolerance is over-rated. I just wanted to stir your ashes LOL. Commodore 64 overclocked into outerspace ![]() |

| I smell AMD fan-boys :P Inquirer has always been 100% biased anyways, so it doesn't really matter. And yes, the grammar is atrocious, but I think the fact that they thought the graphics cards were the problem was also funny. I think the fact that they were using dual CPUs also played a role in hindering the performance. Of course, it could also just be bad programming. | The FX-74, to my knowledge, is desigend for server use, though I could be wrong. Anyways, the FX-74 costs exactly $550 at newegg, and since he's using 2 of them, he has to be using a server motherboard, which would run about $450. So far, $1550. Then add the cost of 8800GTX's, $599, that brings it up to $2748. Then add in the RAM, sound card, and other peripheals. | T-Rex | As much as I like AMD, the 4x4 architecture is a total flop. And yes, I smell fanboy. Illiterate fanboy on top of that. (I know, i'm mean. If you have difficulty bearing with that imagine my family... :P) |
