Default Unistalling nVidia drives in Linux

I just installed Ubuntu 7.04 on a second partition on my HDD. I installed the nVidia drivers, thinking I was able to run Beryl. I was wrong. Apparently the nVidia drivers for Linux are not compatible with the new 8 series cards.

How do I get rid of the nVidia drivers? It won't let me boot to the graphical Linux; only to the "alternate version" that only lets me type in "terminal-style" commands.

Thanks,

Nate Phillips

Which version do you have installed? I was pretty sure that 100.14.11 had support for at least most of the new generation cards.

As far as Ubuntu goes, you should be able to use the Synaptics package manager to install/uninstall things.
