| I just installed Ubuntu 7.04 on a second partition on my HDD. I installed the nVidia drivers, thinking I was able to run Beryl. I was wrong. Apparently the nVidia drivers for Linux are not compatible with the new 8 series cards. How do I get rid of the nVidia drivers? It won't let me boot to the graphical Linux; only to the "alternate version" that only lets me type in "terminal-style" commands. | Which version do you have installed? I was pretty sure that 100.14.11 had support for at least most of the new generation cards. Appendix*A.*Supported NVIDIA GPU Products As far as Ubuntu goes, you should be able to use the Synaptics package manager to install/uninstall things. ![]() Join us on the unofficial HL IRC Channel!
