Default uh ohz i need help

so the problem is my computer has been running fine until last week, advice from Tyreal made me come here, so anyways the problem is that:

When i attempt to start my computer the computer's initial checks for the hd and dvd drives etc works, then after the loading of windows xp screen, my computer sometimes gets a blue flash and then just reboots and sometimes it gets to the login screen and when i enter my pw and press enter, it freezes when it says loading personal settings, and reboots. It is not my hd, ive tried multiple harddrives and same thing happens.

Specs: 300wSPI
p4 with Ht socket 478
Sis661fx chip set
2gb of pc3200 ram
x700pro
Dual HDs, one crappy old one thingy with like 1gb of storage(hw)
Water Cooled
Runs 39 degrees

So basically what i think is that its not software, its not the vid card. Can anyone help confirm. My speculation is that its either my crappy mobo or a semi dead psu

hmmmm tough call.
Need to isolate the issue......
My first guess is the power supply

INTEL QX9650 // Gigabyte EP45 Extreme // 8GB PC2-8500 // BFG GTX260 MaxCore // DD Torture Rack // Seagate 750GB HDD // OCZ Vendetta // PC Power & Cooling 620W PSU

Well, it could be several things. First, are you overclocking? If so, have you tried to boot with stock settings?
What about loading "Fail Safe" defaults in the BIOS?
Are you sure you don't have a virus of some kind? Try booting into Safe Mode, does that work? If so, try a virus scan in there.
Is there anything (anything at all) that you recently changed, moved, added, removed, etc.?
When you say you tried multiple hard drives, did you reformat these hard drives and do a fresh install of windows or did you try to boot from another windows install? What was on these other HDD's?

No i am not Ocing, i have tried fail-safe defaults, and when i say multiple harddrives, i mean i share comp my comp with my dad and we have a harddrive switching mechanism, and he almost never uses the comp so his hd is perfectly fine, oh and sometimes after the windows loading screen it just goes to a black screen and stays there, it seems in safe mode there are no problems so far

I don't quite follow what you mean by that, but nevermind.
What about viruses? Can you boot into safe mode?

Indeed. Have you tried just plain reformatting and reinstalling Windows?
