| The moment I opened Skype, my volume (output, not the slider) jumped to about 100x what it was. Very strange that it didn't show up on the sound card. I didn't find any info about the volume in Skype's preferences. Any way to prevent that from happening again? |

| I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal. | Not sure if this is related, but Skype would mess with my sound settings, so I did the following: - Under TOOLS select OPTIONS - On the left hand column, click SOUND DEVICES - Uncheck Let Skype adjust my sound device settings |
