Screen in 4 sections

My cousins computer screen divides into 4 sections when they play a game. This happens on most of their games but not all and the screens 4 sections are jumbled with the picture running the view of the bottom right in the upper left and the lower left in the upper right sometimes and other times different. The computer works fine and the screen is normal when there's not a game running and even runs right on a couple games. I googled this problem and couldn't find anything so all suggestions would be appreciated.
