| My harddisk keeps disconnecting itself. The disconnects are few and far between, though. Thus far, it's usually done it after I've packed up my computer and traveled halfway across the state with it. I figured that maybe the connection became loose, so I would just unplug the hdd, plug it back in, and it would work. Lately, it's disconnected once or twice while it was stationary and in windows. Is my hdd dying? | ||||||||||||||

| You can run some diagnostics on your HDD and see whether there is a problem with it. You might try replacing the SATA cable. you might also check out the connectors on the drive itself and make sure its not damaged.
