Default Question regarding Crossfire

I have two 1600Pro 512mb DDR2 Vid cards that I can put into a video server and am considering it.

I know they work together via the Catalyst software control panel.

I also know that I can designate one card as the "main" throughput card and utilize the others resources for rendering.

Question is: Must I use the DVI- out or can I use the SVideo out?

The video server will be hooked up to my main Home Theater system pushing a HD 61" DLP.

I can run it through the sound system/DVD system via S-video or get a DVI to HDMI adapter and run it direct to the TV ... or run it through Component video.

I simply am hoping that crossfire will push the signal through the Card through the SVideo Out.

So ... any comments? [Don't know if 1GB Crossfire is overkill or not]
I may want to play 2142 on it too ...

Use the DVI. On a full-HD set the Svideo will look horrible in my opinion.

Thanks PoloBunny ... I bought the Monster Ultra 800 DVI to HDMI 16' Cable ...

The Video signal will go directly into the TV.

These cards don't have HD sound piped through them ... so I am going to try and run the sound from the onboard Sound RealteK High Def Audio ...

Although I have a coax Home Theater 550 Pro on a PCI-X1 Bus that is running ATI United AVStream ...

I wonder which will provide the best video and or audio combination.

Any comments?

Will the quad shield Coax provide better signal bandwidth than the DVI/HDMI?

The Coax will carry both audio and video whereas the HDMI ... with these cards ... will only carry Video.

Comments?
