Default Preblem With CPUZ HELP!

as you can see the latest version of CPUZ is giving me a different read out, after i set my bios for default....

anyone have an idea about this? is my C2D down-clocked??? or the latest CPUZ is bugged???

this getting confused.... this make no sense at all...

just make sure u check the BIOS, and TAT works well too (its pretty much always right).

CPU-Z can display some kind of off info sometimes. if its right in the BIOS and TAT, ur fine. u dont have to worry about that version if thats the case:P

its only the CPUZ 1.39 showing this whacky info... everything else shows 2.40ghz on my comp...

The CPU-z on the left shows a multiplier of 6 where as the one on the right shows it at 9, which is where it should be. I downloaded and used v1.39 and had no issues. Could very well be something with how CPU-z is reading your motherboard. As long as you have it set correctly in the Bios and TAT or some other program is showing the correct speed, I'd just go back to CPU-z v1.38 or 1.37. I have both if you need them.

does intel have something comparable to AMD's cool n' quiet feature? if so did you disable it in the bios? might be why you got that reading

i set all to default ... i mean optimal default... the bios is reading 2.4ghz

At any rate, I can't see this being very problematic. It happens, it sucks if you like to use that application, but it's not like it was impacting performance. ;D

nice sig btw...

yeah no damage to performance but this minor glitch are getting me worried sick...

and it still shows the same sick X6 multiplier everytime i use 1.39 version...
