Default Philips Freevents X56

Hi, and HELP!!! I've a Philips Freevents X56 which I mainly use for emails, mainly because I'm hardly computer literate. However, when I tried to load the disc which came with my new mobile phone, it wouldn't load automatically. When I went to 'run' and put in D:\Setup.exe I got a reply to say "The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error". Where am I going wrong? or do I have to go back to the retailer (they know almost as much about laptops as I do!).

Are you sure that your CD/DVD drive is on the "D:\"?

Try ONLY typing "D:\" in "Run" and report back.

Also, are you sure that "autorun" os enabled for CD's?

Tried only "D:\" and got same message. I just assume autorun is enabled for cd's. And thanks for your help. Much appreciated.
