Default pc won't oc as high anymore?

my system keeps crashing now and i had to lower my oc by alot. I'm not too sure what happened. Mabye the cpu is dieing out because of all the voltage?. Somehow i have a feeling whatever my problem is, it has to do with temperature... Any ideas?

i have a creeping suspicion its my ram. I always thought my ram was faulty. I changed the settings to 240fsb with a 1 : 1 ratio. Played a few mintues of CS and it crashed. I think my conclusion is the ram. Any other thoughts?

IF it really is the ram, i might replace it.

I would be looking at something like this...

run memtest from your BIOS....
if it will past 5-10 cycles, then pass Super Pi to 32m....your RAM is fine.

if my ram is fine, it would be able to do what the reviews say. It should be able to run tighter timings at 200mhz. Mine can't do that unless its a 1:1 divider. My cpu isn't faulty because it can still run at 300fsb. Therefore, my ram has become half assed somehow. LOL

I'm not exactly sure. But follow Capper's instructions in the mean time. If it can run the gauntlet then its fine. Run it at stock as well. If its bad then it will fail stock.

I Like Watercooling. D-Tek Fuzion, MCP655, MCR220
