Default Oh NO!

Ok here is my delimma, I moved all of my components to a new case last night. I got finished and went to power up the box and it powered up for about 10 seconds then it turns itself off. Before moving everything to the new case everything worked great. I used antistatic strap and double checked my connections. Is there anything that I am missing. I even reset CMOS. I am stumped I gave up at about 2 a.m. because I had to wake up for work at 5 a.m. I will try to tackle this again on Sat. Any suggestions? I am thinking about ripping everything out and starting over.

Off the top of my head that sounds like either a power issue or a heat issue. If you removed the CPU, and HSF from the MoBo before the move you should apply new Thermal Paste. I would also check that the CPU and HSF are seated properly. Make sure all your Power cables are connected to the MoBo correctly, and make sure you didn't miss one of the power cables. Its probably something very simple.

I would focus on power issues then.

Yeah man that is far from a retard move. That is one area of motherboards I would really like to see revamped. It should be a standard plug and socket. You just plug it in and its the same on every case and every MoBo. Should be a standard across the board. I have no idea why no one has ever though of that before.

Yeah, seconded. A bit like those internal USB connectors. More case mamunfacturers are starting to make them standard, personally i've never seen a different layout but even then some cases are separate wires...
