Default Motherboard issues...?

So... on monday I got this message on my screen about the shift-stickey-key-thing, so i was like whatever, and canceled it. Ten seconds later, I get it again. First thought was ´damn. my keyboard´s acting up.´I unplugged the keyboard and rebooted. Keyboard still unplugged, I get the message again. I try the on-screen keyboard, and the keys keep switching from all-caps to non-all-caps. I decide to deal with it another day as it was 2am.

Fastforward to tuesday afternoon.

I turn on my system, everything´s working fine, although some of my start-up items never opened. My anti-virus starts to run, and after about 45 mins. my background is ¨holding on¨ to whatever I open. Other than that, it works just fine. Reboot! Now every time I try to get to open up the start menu, it disappears... as in like... I click on it, it shows up and then 2 seconds later, its gone.

I tried to reboot into safe-mode, but I can´t seem to be able to get any respense when I press anything. I tried F8, F10, ESC, and F2. No response whatsoever. My guess is that there´s something wrong with my mobo. I wouldnt be surprised since i´ve had problems with it before, but I would like a second opinion on this...
