Default motherboard issue

I have an ASUS motherboard.....M2NPV-VM....when i boot up, it signals a RAM error (beep beep) hitting the reset enables me to boot up and then things are fine. I have heard this is a common problem with this board - is there a way to correct?? The memory is fine - been tested....thanks

there may be a BIOS setting called "stop on..." and set it to "stop on none", the other options should be keyboard, mouse, all, floppy...

Thanks HL and Corsair!

if that doesn't help then you may need to check over the RAM settings and see if they are too high or too low when set to auto
