Default Monitor/Graphics Card Problem

Alright, as some of you know, I just got a new water cooling system. After running for a half four non-stop, the bubbles on the lines were gone. I hooked up the computer to power, mouse, keyboard and the monitor. Computer turned on fine, but the monitor would not detect the computer. I would turn the computer on and then the monitor, but the monitor would then do into standby mode, but the computer would continue to run. This never happened before I installed the water cooling system. I then tried my old CRT monitor, same deal. It would flash the "Your display is working properly; check your computer is turned on" message continuously. It would seem the graphics card konked out, but it was working before the water cooling.

Please help! Thanks

I don't have another PCI-E graphics card. I'll try to get one from my friend tomorrow. I really don't want to be forced to buy another graphics card (if this one's broken), because I don't have any money! Clean out for that water cooling system! I guess I won't have a working computer for 4-6 months (if this one's broken).

You'd have to RMA it.

If it works with a different graphics card, that's what I'll have to do. What if it still doesn't work after I put in a different graphics card?

Yep, even tried a different VGA-to-DVI connector (the monitor is VGA, the card is DVI). I also tried a different cable. I have a feeling it's the card also, but I don't want the card to be broken.
