| Alright, first i'm using Vista on this computer. Anyways, when i go to computer, it says i have 350/465 Gigs of storage in my C drive, but when i open the C Drive, and highlight everything and check their properties, it only comes up to 54.5 gigabytes of storage. So where is that other 50 gigs going? I used winrar to open up some files, so i was thinking maybe they were like temporary files somewhere in my computer that i need to get rid of, i'm not sure. Thanks :)! | ||||||||||||||

| 350 is still free, but it should be 400-410 free for the amount of stuff i have put on my computer.. atleast according to the properties of everything in C: | ||||||||||||||

| Try doing this. Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Disc Management Check out the Drive, there may be another "Unallocated" 50GB there. If there is, then you can Allocate it or merge it with the maine drive if I'm correct..... | ||||||||||||||

| It says everything is 100% working, its all primary partition Edit: just a side note, it seems the more i install, the larger the gap between the amount of space used, and the amount of space remaining grows. Last edited by diabloplayer75; April 22nd, 2008 at 16:17. | ||||||||||||||

| Relativity is fun!
| Did you completely format the drive when you installed vista? If you installed over an old copy of xp, it's possible there's a windows.old file (or something like that), that will have everything from the old install. You could also try running vssadmin Resize ShadowStorage /For=C: /On=C: /Maxsize=3GB in the command prompt, it should limit the size of the system restore file to 3 gigs. e6300@3.33ghz|Asus P5k-e WiFi| 4gb OCZ ReaperX|2x 3870's|1.3tb storage space|MSI tv tuner.
