Default Icons went bye bye

Umm... There used to be a lot of icons back there

For some reason my desktop icons went bye bye.

A simple background change made it come back to normal, but why did it happen?

I have no idea man. Sometimes Windows gets funked up when a bunch of stuff changes. I don't use desktop icons, so I've never had that problem, but the one that happens to me all the time is the little expand arrow on the notification area (where the clock is) sometimes disappears when it auto-slides back to place. Silly Microsoft
