| I was just recently playing in my computer and trying to get my motherboard out but just couldnt figure it out . So i put it back together while adding some fans and lights. I turned it on and it seemed to be running rather slow when i open some programs or go to the start menu . I opened the task manager and saw that my cpu usage would jump to 100% rather easily and i idle around 10-15 which is not normal at all. i disconnected the fans and lights because i thought that might be the issue but it still going slow. I also doubt it would be any spyware or viruses. Any ideas ? Ati Radeon 9000Lg Combo burner |

| i dont think its with the heatsink or thermal paste because i didnt really mess with that stuff and my temps for my cpu are 34c and i could open like 50 different programs and they all open up at the regular speed its just with some stuff like the internet and scroll around or when i go to program files from the start menu. Problem solved . I figured it out when i tried playing morrowind and age of empire 3 it would just crash. So i thought reseat the video card and it worked out. | Maybe if the video card was not seated right, it could have caused some kind of data flow problem, is the only thing I can think of, especially if he was having a problem running a game, but now is not. I would think this would be true for any improperly seated component. If it's not fixed, then don't broke it! |
