| I recently clean up my computer a bit, and accidently removed a program. Apparently, this program lets your hear sound. When I open my media player to listen to music, it says "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly." HELP! |

| We take both criticism and positive comments very positively | Please post your system specs so we can help you. Its all depending on whether you are using the integrated sound solution, or a sound card, then it'll probably as simple as re-installing the appropriate driver for the sound soltuion. | Welcome to HL! You may have uninstalled the sound card (if you have one) or the onboard sound driver by accident. What are your system specs? What OS are you running? Just go to your system vendors website or the sound card makers' website and dwnload the drivers. | Heh, no problem man... I'm 13 myself. The specs are the hardware the computer has inside of it like the CPU, motherboard, graphics card, etc. I'm assuming that you didn't build the computer yourself, so what's the brand? Dell, HP, etc. Also, what's the model like "Dell Inspiron 530" for example.
