Default GRAW freezing

Any ideas why GRAW freezes after completing a level and loading the new level?

you talking ghost recon?
if so, make sure you have the latest patch for that sucker. When it first came out it was a buggy POS. But now that they have patched it it works pretty good. Now having said that, I only run xp on my machine so I dont know how well it plays with Vista let alone 64bit vista.

I will go get the patches now...I had run it before and completed it on this machine so I know it works.I'm wondering if I have too much security going for it...see what happens with the patch.Thanks.

The only things I play online is COD4 and CSS (although havent played this at all since i got COD4). I like to get good at one game so I can piss Capper off when he plays. :)

Yeah, I had a similar problem to you, worked much, much better after updates, lol. Still never got past the 2nd mission though... just never got into it. Which is weird, because I played the original ghost recon so much, lol.

I'll remember that as my knife sticks into your spine

as for GRAW, I have heard plenty of mentions where after the 2nd or 3rd mission it just gets old and is nowhere near the fun of the original

Thanks HL and Corsair!

Yea, I almost completed the first mission, but then died and never tried it again. But I really like playing over the internet, or playing co-op.

Hmm, I should reinstall it and try it out online.

I just didnt like babysitting my team, lol... I prefered the original, where I could turn the difficulty all the way up, not bring a team, and just play the missions solo, just me and my l85. (at least, I think I used an l85, lol...). Online was fun with that game too.

GRAW is the bomb, I beat it back when I had XP but I may give it another shot on a harder difficulty. Definitely get all the patches.
