Default Getting rid of DAP

I've been trying to download some drivers from various sites, and the sites for whatever reason don't like DAP. So I uninstalled DAP, rebooted cold, and now when a download tries to start, the system tries to load DAP which is no longer there. ERROR! ERROR! DOES NOT COMPUTE!

 Well, you get the idea.

Anyway, I've looked everywhere I can think of trying to remove the last traces of DAP, and can't find anything. Any suggestions on how I can get rid of this pesky thing?

I use a program called Your Uninstaller that removes registry entries when you uninstall. Maybe a registry cleaner would help.

Thanks, guys. First I've heard of jv16. I'll give it a whirl and see what happens.

*** A few minutes later ***

Heh. Can't download anything because of DAP. The downlaod manager refers to DAP automatically. Since DAP isn't there anymore, no download.

(sigh) I guess I have to go use my wife's pokey system...
