| Hey guys, My Firefox (version 2.0.0.3) doesn't save bookmarks properly anymore. It saves them twice, but they are just blank. If I want a bookmark with the name of the link, I have to drag it into the Bookmarks Toolbar, and then go move it by organizing my bookmarks. Very annoying to say the least, it is.![]() Can you help me fix this bug so that my bookmarks have text when I save them the old way ![]() TIA, WhiteEagle ![]() |

| Colonel Calamity | no problems here either....I've done upgrades and fresh installs and not a single one has had that problem... maybe you are doing it wrong? Just click Bookmarks -> Bookmark this page... and make a simple name for it... thats all there is to it... if it is not working then try uninstalling it, running CCleaner then reinstalling FF2 ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! | Colonel Calamity | so uninstalling and reinstalling didn't work? FF saves the bookmarks even if uninstalled... or export them to an html file then import them on the reinstalled one ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. |

| It seems to be a bug that happens some times. What you need to do is back up and export your book marks, by going Bookmarks >> Organize Bookmarks >>File>>Export. Then un-install Firefox. Then go into the windows search utility and search for Firefox and Mozilla, delete EVERY Firefox and Mozilla related folder, then reinstall firefox. That seemed to work for me. | I also have Mozilla Thunderbird, so that's kind of tough for me to do... ![]() EDIT: Switched to IE7, cause I figured out why it (IE7) was crashing on me ![]() . It was due to FoxyTunes of all things...I hate plug-ins that don't work right ! ![]() Last edited by WhiteEagle; April 25th, 2007 at 22:37. Reason: just figured out why IE7 was crashing! |
