|  error message My computer keeps logging off and error message keeps appearing: Technical information Stop: 0X0000007E (OXC0000005. 0X804DA4F8, 0XF8A2E8D8) in safe mode it says: "local area connection: a network cable i unplugged" "repair local area connection:renewing your IP address" on support connection status it says "IP address 0000" I was able to scan and find "Trojan horse small.LG" C:Xwindows1system321sulimo.dat" Backup copy infected I tried to delete this and computer still has errors. What do I need to do. |

| Colonel Calamity  | Re: error message boot into safe mode, run a full system virus scan and also try to download a-squared and superantispyware which will also help remove the trojan. Once that is done, go to Run and type "cmd" (without quotes).. then type chkdsk /f and restart your computer... the next time it comes up boot back into safe mode and do the same cmd and this time type in "sfc /scanonce" (without quotes). Restart the computer and make sure you have your XP disc available when it asks for it.   Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members.  |
