Default Do you shut your computer off at night

Do you shut your computer off at night or just leave it running 24/7?
And Why?

I leave it on 24/7 usually, unless I'm going to be out of town or something....usually because its fairly quiet and really doesn't cost much to keep running.
Pluse I have the craziest hours in the world and if I can't sleep am always up and about reading about something

24/7 here. I'll restart it occassionally just because it seems to perform better if I do but that just may be me.

I run it 24/7 until I need to reboot, or the performence starts going way way down. Doesnt seem to have any problems running 24/7. Except that the fan i screwed onto the passive northbridge sink is a bit buzzzzy

I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal.

24/7 for me too. When I go to bed, I put the PC on Standby so the fans kick off, which both makes it quieter in my room and keeps it from getting too toasty (especially in the summertime).

I put my computer on hybernate at night most of the time if I don't shut it down. Is hybernate bad for the computer?

HAHAHA, oh god, the hibernate
It's not necessarily bad, I have just found that most every time I try to use hibernate it never really works correctly afterwards (compared to how it runs after a fresh boot-up). If it works for ya, then go for it!

For me, it varies. I might leave it on if I'm priming or running Memtest or something, but most of the time I shut it off in hopes of saving a few extra cents on the electricity bill :P
