Default Computers stink.

Aight, so, my motherboard has a passive chipset, unfortuantly, it gets quite hot inside my case(P180), and i think it may have been causing stability problems (3D mark), So i get a 40MM fan, screw it on to the sink (perfect fit). Hit power, and im greeted to BEEEP BEEEP BEEEP, wich means memory error, take out two of the ram sticks, hit power, and it powers right up and POSTs and load windows. Not sure if the ram is completely dead, but if it is. This really sucks.

yea that would suck real bad Lead

It really doesn't make much since that the ram would take a dump just shutting down and installing a chipset fan!

Maybe try and reinstall the ram, and see what happens.

That really stinks. What's your system specs? (And why aren't they in your signature?)

Try switching them in another slot. Sometimes it will just beep in Slot 4 but not in Slot 3, that kind of weird stuff.
