8800GT & 3DMark06 score

I've heard plenty of stories about people not being able to get over 10K with 8800GT and 3DMark, but this isn't one of them.
This thread is about how I have a much different score compared to a fellow 3DMark06 user and how I wish I could have that too...
First and foremost, comparison.


Left, my system. Right, his system.
My CPU, E8400 is at 4Ghz (not 4.5Ghz as 3Dmark reports (probably has something to do with how Vista reports anyway))
His CPU, E6600.
My card, 725mhz/1050mhz.
His card, 700mhz/1000mhz.
Same GFX drivers for both.

Now look at my score. 3DMark score isn't so bad. Now look at SM2.0, ok not too bad yet still lower than his. Now look at SM3.0 scores. :S! There's our problem. Just under, you can see CPU score, which makes me believe I can't be CPU bottlenecked seeing his is lower.
I uninstalled the drivers and grabbed the 169.44 then proceeded to overclock my PCI-e bus to 120mhz instead of the base 100mhz. I got a meager 100 more points, nothing actually close to his score yet. :|

I'm open to all suggestions, ideas, craziest hypotheses.

Something came to my mind after seeing the post of someone on OCforums. Anyone think it might be a small SLI run?
