Before you give up on water though, try this: throw out the DD crap fluid and get some PT-Nuke and some distilled water from your local grocery store. This will stop any algae from growing in your loop. ![]() Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 | DFI Blood Iron P35-T2RL | 2GB G.Skill 800MHz | EVGA GeForce 8800GTS 320MB | Silverstone Decathlon 650W | Western Digital 250GB SATA II

But I can understand that your wife wouldn't want to use it while theres liquid in it... My dad rebuilt our family PC with 8600GTS SLI and everything but the mosfets are WC'ed... My moms always like "are you sure thats not going to leak??" "what if the tubing breaks and it kills the computer and I loose all my email???!?!?!?!!"... hahaha, shes always concerned about her email, she gets like 100 new emails a day. ![]() ![]() I'm glad your going to put the watercooling back in eventually! ![]() But one suggestion, get rid of all those elbows man, I just did a calculation and found that if you take out all your elbows (11 of them) in your system you'll get .50 more GMP. Right now your getting about 1.11GMP, and thats pretty low. You'll get better tempetures without the elbows. ![]() Last edited by Parker; February 24th, 2008 at 16:13.

| I have tried and tested WCing solutions, mixtures etc and distilled water + Zerex = no growth , turning dirty colors etc. And for VGA air coooling there are a bunch of coolers available. Zalman and Thermalright make good ones. VGA & Chipset Cooling There's a bunch there, and sharka has excellent service. Here is a nice selection of Thermalright VGA coolers from again, a good company.
