 |  Wanted: newer AGP card MY dad has been having issues with his system and he is trying to get his video card updated... he bought a Sapphire HD2600 AGP and half his games will not load with some directx error. Apparently there is some bug with the AGP versions of these ATI HD2xxx and 3xxx cards, so he is sending it back. He had a nvidia 6200 which was chugging on CS:S at 20-30fps.... I know the rest of his system is a bit of a bottleneck (OEM HP with Athlon64 3200+, 1GB DDR) but he is trying to get some life out of it. CS:S is the most demanding game he plays. So I am looking for a AGP nvidia card (AGP not PCIe), something like a 6600GT or 7600GT or higher...   Thanks HL and Corsair! | Re: Wanted: newer AGP card Spoke with him today, used CrossLoop to sign into his machine... the sapphire drivers suck for the HD2600 AGP cards and they never worked... so I loaded the AGP drivers from visiontek and those worked perfectly he is up and running nicely.
